Susan Bahorich joined WDBJ7 in January, 2004. A Maryland native, Susan graduated from Towson University with a degree in Mass Communications and a minor in English.
Susan got her start in TV while she was still in college by working behind the scenes at a local cable station. Soon after graduation, she got her first shot in front of the camera as a reporter/morning anchor.
From there she went to San Diego, California, where she worked as a writer/associated producer, but soon the East Coast was calling her home and she accepted a job in Harrisonburg, Virginia. There she did everything from producing and shooting her own stories to anchoring an hour-and-a-half morning program.
Susan's happy to call Roanoke home and looks forward to discovering the Valley's untarnished natural resources, hiking trails and beautiful scenery. In her spare time, Susan enjoys watching sports (especially UMD and college basketball!) and movies, reading books, traveling and laughing with family and friends.
