Fall Crisp on Weekend Diner

Fall Crisp by Richard McHone



2 apples- peeled, cored, and diced
3 pears - peeled, cored, and diced
1/2 Cup dried Cranberries
1 Tbls All purpose Flour
2 Tbls Honey
1 1/2 Tbls Lemon Juice


1/2 Cup All Purpose flour
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Quick Oats
1/4 Cup Ground Walnuts
1/2 Cup Butter


Preheat Oven to 375 degrees
Lightly grease an 8 inch baking dish
Mix apples, pears, cranberries, 1 tbls flour, honey, and lemon juice put in prepared dish.
In separate bowl mix the 1/2 cup flour, brown sugar, oats butter to the consistency of fine crumbs, then add the walnuts and sprinkle over top of the fruit.
Bake for 45 minutes or until brown and crisp on top.
