Christiansburg man facing child pornography, marijuana growing charges

CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. -

A Christiansburg man is accused of distributing child pornography and having a marijuana growing operation in his home.

The Christiansburg Police Department served a search warrant Dec. 4 in the 200 block of Ellett Drive for a child pornography distribution suspect. When officers served the warrant, they found a small indoor marijuana growing operation.

Michael John Campisini, 45, is charged with: knowingly possessing child pornography; distributing child pornography; possession with the intent to distribute more than a half ounce, but less than five pounds of marijuana; and manufacturing marijuana.

Campisini is being held at the Western Virginia Regional Jail without bond.
