Robert Glass and Susan Pascali live at the Virginia Veterans Care Center and they're in love.
“It started right here, sitting between these two chairs; studying the bible together. She would ask me questions and I would answer the questions,” said Glass.
Their love of reading the bible turned into a daily meet up and a bond formed. Getting married again wasn’t anything either of them had in mind.
“No, that was the last thing on my mind,” said Pascali. “Absolutely no, but I'm glad it happened said Glass.
Susan loves to hear Robert play his guitar and says she remembers the moment Robert proposed.
“We were at church waiting for some of the people that drive us to and from church,” said Pascali. “We were waiting for them. I said what's wrong and he said I'm trying to figure out how to ask you to marry me, and I said just ask me.”
Though their courtship was short, they say they don't want to wait to tie the knot. They met in April and plan to get married in January.
“I know we're both looking into it till death do us part, and we're just looking to make it as happy and peace as we can,” said Glass.
The couple proves that no matter the age, you can always fall in love.
