Third suspect arrested in connection to armed robbery at Danville store

DANVILLE, Va. -

A third suspect in connection to an armed robbery at a Danville convenience store earlier this month has been arrested.

Leon Rontea Glenn, 21, was arrested Sunday night in the Purdum Woods Apartment Complex on Richmond Boulevard. He is one of four men accused of robbing Juniors Market on Myrtle Avenue on Feb. 8.

Glenn is being held in the Danville City Jail without bond.

Two other men have already been arrested in connection to the robbery. Christian Isaiah Price, 19, and Cameron OBryant Hairston, 18, were previously arrested and charged with robbery, burglary, and using a firearm in commission of a felony.

Danville police are still searching for 19-year-old Liconde DeShawn Jones. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.

Four men have been charged in connection with the reported robbery on Myrtle Ave. yesterday evening.

Charges of robbery, burglary, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony have been brought against the following individuals.

1) Leon Rontea Glenn (age 21)
2) Liconde Deshawn Johns (age 19)
3) Christian Isaiah Price (age 19)
4) Cameron OBryant Hairston (age 18)

Glenn and Johns are currently at large and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Glenn or Johns is asked to call 911 immediately.

Price and Hairston are currently being held in the Danville City Jail under no bond.

Danville Police are looking for two men, who they say robbed a convenience store.

It happened at the Juniors Market on Myrtle Avenue last night shortly before 7:30 p.m. Saturday night.

The clerk told police a group of men came inside the store with bandannas over their faces and held him at gunpoint.

They also took money and items from the store.

Anyone with information is asked to call Danville Police.
