A local man is set to find out his punishment Friday for driving high and causing a deadly wreck.
WDBJ7 talked to Radford Commonwealth's Attorney Chris Rehak Thursday who gave us some information in advance on today's plea deal.
He tells us that Thomas Dindinger was high on man-made marijuana called spice when he ran a stop sign or a stoplight back in May of last year.
He slammed into a car that 70-year-old Preston Williams was riding in.
Williams died three weeks later.
Rehak says Dindinger will get about a year in prison and have to pay around $8,000 in fines.
