Angels of Assisi brings in animals with the hope of finding them a good home.
Last week someone brought in a whole lot more than normal, all at once.
A breeder of small dogs decided to retire, so Angels of Assisi agreed to take all 58 of her dogs!
The organization began taking the dogs, mostly chihuahuas and poodles, last week.
The shelter's executive director says they couldn't have done it without a lot of help.
"Honestly with a lot of volunteers, they're wonderful and they've come out and let us wash them and groom them. They've helped us when we've taken them up to the surgery area," said Executive Director Lisa O'Neill.
The dogs were all in relatively good health and almost half of them have already been adopted.
