A church in the New River Valley is helping a girl fight a rare disease.
Olivia was diagnosed with Fanconi anemia when she was just three.
Now, at five years old, she's already had a bone marrow transplant.
Earlier today, Harbor of Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church held a fundraiser in her honor.
Olivia's mother said while the last few years have been a struggle, there's a glimmer of hope.
"About three weeks ago, they called and said her immune study, they do that routinely. I don't know how often, but she had made such an improvement, they were willing to lift her restrictions so she could go outside without a mask," said Crystal Eubank.
Olivia will continue to have more tests and follow up appointments.
In the meantime, doctors and Olivia's parents are taking one day a time.
