Things kick off with a Musical Bike Parade Friday at 6 p.m. in the parking lot of the Municipal Building

On Tuesday, August 13th at 6:02 p.m. Downtown Blacksburg Inc., and Smithfield Plantation present a downtown Cash Mob.

Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. has been holding monthly Cash Mobs since March 2012.

Cash Mobs are the international phenomena encouraging people to support their local small businesses.

In addition to supporting our small business downtown it is also a chance for people to connect.

The only rules are you have to spend $20, meet at least 3 people you didn't know before, and have fun!

The event happens on the Henderson Lawn Stage on College Avenue (across from The Lyric) in Downtown Blacksburg.
