Minature golf and batting cages return to Bedford

Miniature golf is returning to Bedford.

KJ's Food and Fun zone is now open, offering batting cages for players at every skill level.

Soon it will also feature putt-putt and a restaurant.

The complex was built in the early 90's by the Toms family, but it closed more than 10 years ago.

The Bramblett family has spent the last year cleaning up the property. They've reopened and named the business after their two daughters: Keeley and Jenna.

Owner Shelli Bramblett said she wants Bedford to have a fun place for kids to play.

"Kids don't really have anything, except for the park, to go and do," said Bramblett. "I also want to show my children that doing your own thing is possible."

The mini golf course is still being renovated, but it should be open by the end of August.

KJ's Food and Fun Zone is open Tuesday through Thursday from 1 to 9 p.m., Friday from 1 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 12 to 8 p.m.
