Mountain View Humane hits a major milestone

Last week, Mountain View Humane in Roanoke hit the 20-thousand mark in spay and neuter surgeries. This equals to a total of 12,500 animals that were kept out of shelters.


Mountain View Humane is a high volume spay and neuter clinic.

There are two clinics: one on Main Street in Christiansburg and another on Peters Creek Road in Roanoke.

Since the Christiansburg clinic opened in 2010, Mountain View Humane has performed 20,229 spay/neuter surgeries.

That means they have helped keep over 12,500 animals out of shelters.

On November 18th, 2013, Mountain View Humane in Christiansburg is offering free cat spay and neuters through a program with the Vet School at Virginia Tech.
