The state supreme court will hear arguments this week on a lawsuit from the Virginia Tech shooting.
The lawsuit was filed and won by the families of two of the 32 victims.
On Thursday, lawyers for those families will ask the high court to add retiring Tech president Charles Steger to the lawsuit.
Lawyers for the school will argue against that, and they'll ask justices to throw out a lower court's ruling in favor of the families.
Back in March of last year, the Montgomery County Circuit Court ruled Virginia Tech didn't do enough to warn students that there was a gunman on campus.
