If students aren't already back in class, they will be very soon.
Experts say the key to cutting down on the stress, is to plan ahead.
Barbara Turvett is with Working Mother Magazine.
She has some guidelines to help families make the most of the their back to school prep time.
"For instance, three weeks out, that's when you want to check the sales, when they're fully stocked with school supplies and you also want to get your child care and school transportation ducks in a row and also schedule those doctor's appointments for your kids," says Turvett.
She also has an idea for families to give back to their schools through a program with Tyson Foods.
The Tyson Project A+ Program allows families to save labels of its products.
After you turn in those labels to your school, it can get back money to buy school supplies.
