The Roanoke City market building will soon celebrate its second year since being renovated.
Today we're learning just how rough the first year was for some businesses.
The building's managers, Hall and Associates, had to file legal action against two restaurants because they were behind on payments.
Fork in the Market and Habana Cafe received warrant in debt notices, meaning they had to set up an additional payment plan to keep their spots.
The good news, Fork in the Market had no issues making its payments and property manager Roger Elkin tells us Habana Cafe is well on its way.
Elkin says the restaurant industry really struggled right when the market building re-opened, but says things are going much better now.
