ROANOKE, Va. -

It's that time of year, millions of Americans are getting ready to put on their shoes and wait in line for door-buster deals on Black Friday.

Many retailers are giving shoppers a sneak peek at some of the sale items.

Several retailers are starting Black Friday deals on Thanksgiving Day. Walmart starts at 6 in the evening, two hours earlier than last year.

Target starts their deals at 8 in the evening, that's an hour earlier than last year. Not everybody plans to start that early.

“It gets earlier and earlier every year and on thanksgiving, its sometime to say we’re thankful for what we have every day and we rush it through. We don't even use it anymore. And Christmas is Christ’s birthday; we need to separate those things, said shopper Dottie Wilson.

Best Buy will start their deals at 6 in the evening on Thanksgiving Day.
