Roanoke Hyperscreens are kiosks that give information on downtown businesses, restaurants and events.

ROANOKE, Va. -

Find out what's hot and what's not at the touch of a finger.

New touchscreen directories are popping up around town.

Roanoke Hyperscreens are kiosks that give information on downtown businesses, restaurants and events.

Businesses have profiles they can manage with information, pictures, videos, and even coupons.

"There's so much to do here in Roanoke and even if you've lived here for three-years sometimes you don't know what's all out there. And, if you're new to town, well, here it is: you can figure out what to do, where to go, where to eat," explains Nora Cozad, Roanoke Hyperscreens Managing Partner.

Right now, the hyperscreens are in three-locations: The Patrick Henry, Cambria Suites and 16 West Marketplace.

Developers are working to get the information centers throughout the city and get more businesses involved.
