HENRY CO., Va. -

Getting a degree in racing is becoming even more popular in Henry County.

The Patrick Henry Community College motorsports program is now Racing College.

The name change and re-branding comes after more students from several states became interested in the school.

This weekend, instructors are rolling out a new website that they hope will interest even more racing enthusiasts.

"I watched it grow from when it was just inception to where it is now and it's really come a long way. And we have a lot more ideas and a lot more stuff we would like to do," said Danny Glad, a Racing College Instructor.

Last year the program moved into a new building where students can build race cars from the ground up and race them in NASCAR sponsored events.

Their first race of the season is Saturday in South Boston.
