Pipe replacement will affect travel on Old Farm Road, route 1767, in Roanoke County

ROANOKE CO., Va. -

Because of weather, work on this project will continue through 5 p.m. Friday (July 12), according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Original story from July 7, 2013

The Virginia Department of Transportation is preparing to do some work on a section of Route 1767, or Old Farm Road, in Roanoke County.

VDOT had originally thought it would begin construction Sunday to do some emergency pipe repairs, but a scheduling conflict with a utility company is keeping them from getting the work done.

The rescheduled date will be announced once it is determined.

When the repairs happen, a handful of neighbors will be without water.
