The City of Roanoke would like to remind residents of the process to report damage following this week’s flooding.

Residents with commercial or property damage from the recent storms are asked to call the city’s real estate valuation office to make a report. An assessment team will come inspect and document the damage.

This does not include personal property damage, such as furniture, TVs, and cars. It only includes residential or commercial property.

The phone number for Roanoke’s Real Estate Valuation office is 540-853-2771.
