A Roanoke man is in jail tonight accused of having child pornography.
Warrants show Nathan Tyler Simmons had at least five videos of young boys having sex.
We know that Simmons was arrested last Thursday night.
The affidavit says Roanoke City police were able to trace the videos back to Simmons IP address and therefore his physical address at the Cotton Mill Lofts in Downtown Roanoke.
Officers seized a laptop and desktop computer and an external hard drive.
According to records, those videos were downloaded in May from a file sharing network.
At the time of his arrest, Simmons was a mental health counselor in Roanoke.
We got in touch with the place where he worked.
They tell us they never got a complaint from a client about inappropriate behavior and that he's no longer employed at the center.
Simmons next court date is at the end of August.
