Rockingham County, NC sheriff "actively investigating" unsolved killings two years later

ROCKINGHAM CO., Va. -

The Rockingham County, North Carolina, sheriff's office is asking for more information two years after a couple were found dead in their home.

Tuesday marks the second anniversary of LaDonna and Troy French's death.

Investigators say they were shot to death. They found DNA and discovered Troy's handgun missing.

The couple's daughter was also attacked but survived. They lived about 30 minutes from Danville.

The sheriff says this is still an active case and urges anyone with info to call the sheriff's department.
