Two men arrested after stabbing in Wal-Mart parking lot

CLAYPOOL HILL, VA. -

Tazewell Police have arrested two men after an argument over a parking space at a Wal-Mart in Claypool Hill, VA escalated, leaving one of them with a severe knife wound.

Ronnie Sharp, 61, and Kristopher Jackson, 35, were both taken into custody.

Police say Sharp stabbed Jackson. A rifle was also found at the scene.

Jackson suffered the severe knife wound.

Police say the fight started over an argument over a parking space that escalated.

Sharp is charged with malicious wounding and brandishing a firearm.

Jackson is charged with disorderly conduct and assault and battery.

Both men are at the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail.
