Thursday marks fourth anniversary of Morgan Harrington's disappearance

The parents of a Virginia Tech student who live through the pain of someone murdering their daughter is supporting another family in crisis.

ROANOKE, Va. -

Thursday is the fourth anniversary of Morgan Harrington's disappearance.

The Virginia Tech student went missing while attending a concert in Charlottesville on this day back in 2009.

Someone found her body in a rural area of Albemarle County months later.

To mark the date, Morgan's parents Dan and Gil Harrington will be in Charlottesville today.

They'll visit the Morgan Memorial at Copeley Bridge.

That's one of the last places anyone saw her alive.

The Harrington's want to bring awareness to her case in hopes of finding her killer.
 

They'll also talk about three other young women who are missing in the same area including Alexis Murphy.
