UPDATE: 2 people remain in hospital after motorcycle accident on Orange Avenue

ROANOKE, Va. -

Update: July 20,2013 11:53 p.m.

Roanoke City Police tell Your Hometown News Leader that the two victims are still in the hospital. 

There's no update on their conditions at this time.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing.

No word yet if charges will be filed.

Traffic in the area is longer blocked Saturday morning.

Traffic is blocked in the east bound lanes of Orange Avenue at Gus Nicks Boulevard through the 2600 block due to an accident involving two motorcycles.

The Roanoke Police Department responded to the 2500 block of Orange Avenue to investigate around 9:44 p.m. on Friday.

Both drivers have been taken to the hospital by ambulance.

East bound traffic is being diverted south on Gus Nicks Boulevard to east on King Street.
