The same watermelon four days later

One of the first watermelons in the WDBJ7 Hometown Garden

For the last several weeks, the garden has been producing a lot of zucchinis. While nothing else is ready to pick just yet, there are several new additions to the garden.

We now have several cucumbers growing. I have set tomato cages upside down and the vines are growing up them. Several should be ready to eat by next week.

We also have several, tiny watermelons growing. Just over the past weekend, they have gone from grape size to the size of a small orange. They are just too cute!

The peppers have started flowering, so I hope to see those coming out in the next few weeks.
