ROANOKE, Va. -

Your Hometown News Leader worked hard raising money for sick kids with Children's Miracle Network today.

Just outside the front doors, WDBJ7 set up shop to sale lemonade for one dollar a cup.

Before the stand ever opened, we were able to raise $100 from the HOG rally bikers passing by the station.

All of the money raised will go towards children in Virginia being treated for cancer.

"All the way from premature born babies, to kids with cancers, car accidents and everything in between, we're buying equipment and life saving services to meet the needs of all the kids in our area. We treat from over 36 cities and counties, we're the only children's hospital that's not for profit in this region," Erin Hildreth of Children’s Miracle Network said.

All together, WDBJ7 raised close to $725.
