Patrick Henry looking to build off successful 2012

On Grandin Road in Roanoke, the Patrick Henry Patriots have a large hole to fill this Fall.
Quarterback David Prince graduated and is now a Hokie at Virginia Tech.
He led the Patriots to their first playoff appearance in twelve years, finishing last season 8-3.
PH beat cross-town rival William Fleming in the final game of the regular season before falling 27-20 to Colonial Forge in the first round of the playoffs.
This is coach Alan Fiddler's third season on the sidelines at PH. With last season's success, player turnout is very high this year and Fiddler hopes to build more players up through the program and send them off to doing great things on and off the football field. “They've worked hard,” Fiddler said. “I think we're a lot stronger than we've been the last two years and we'll find out pretty soon. We're excited to be out here. Every year is a different year, and you take new guys every year and you mold them into football players and good young men. And that's the exciting part about it."
Prince isn't just the only hole to fill for the Patrick Henry -- the Patriots graduated 17 seniors last season.
They open the season up with Hidden Valley.
