CAMPBELL CO., Va. -

The Brookville Bees needed a win tonight to get off the playoff bubble, but EC Glass figured to pose a stiff challenge at Stinger Stadium.

It was homecoming night at Brookville. Leah Porter was named queen. Austin Smith got the crown as king. Congratulations to them.

We pick up the action with Brookville ahead 14-8. Jason Carwile, the Bees' workhorse, races 29 yards up the middle, down to the 6-yard line.

On 2nd-and-goal Daequan Myers ran right and dove into the end zone. That put the Bees up 20-8.

After both teams go three-and-out, E.C. Glass started driving. Donnie Morgan goes off right tackle 16 yards to the Brookville 21-yard line, showing off some fleet feet.

On the next play Malik Andrews-Harvey sprinted around the left side and stretched into the endzone. That cut Brookville's lead to 20-15.

Brookville trying to put it away late. But Bees quarterback Neal Reynolds threw into double coverage, and the Hilltoppers picked it off at their own 1-yard -line. E.C. Glass moved the ball to midfield but time runs out. Brookville hung on, 20-15 the final.
