The two schools played for the first time since 2010.

EC Glass hooked up with George Washington in Danville, this week, the first matchup between the two schools since 2010.

GW was looking to defend it's home turf.  The Eagles would have to come from behind to do it.

The Hilltoppers were up 14-7 at half, but GW tied it up at 14.  Hunter Byrnes fired to Myles Bennett who made the grab and then did the heavy lifting.  He took it 51 yards to paydirt knotting one at 14.

Glass got back into it, Donnie Morgan took it from his own goal line and found plenty of daylight.  They were not gonna get him until he was deep into GW territory.  And it looked like Glass would answer.

But on 4th down the Eagles put a stop to the drive, when Malik Clements sacked Morgan and the Eagles took over on downs. But GW gave it right back when Byrnes looked deep but he didn't account for Quentin Garland who was there to pick it off giving the ball to Glass.

George Washington took the lead for good late. Kewante Cobbs made the
catch in the flat and then turned it up field for 81 yards.  Cobbs turned on the jets and GW knocked off Glass 21 to 17.
