For Miami, last week was considered the game of the season. The Hurricanes were undefeated, playing undefeated rival Florida State before a national television audience in prime time.
By any measure, it was a big game.
Thing is, this week's may be even more significant to Miami's conference-championship hopes.
The Hurricanes have long said that their road back to becoming a big-time program again starts by winning the Atlantic Coast Conference's Coastal Division title. And no team has won the Coastal more times than Virginia Tech, which visits the 14th-ranked Hurricanes on Saturday night in a game that will probably go a long way toward deciding the division title.
The Hokies have lost two straight, and were beaten 30-12 by Miami a year ago.
