Josh Harris is determined to make the most of his second chance at Wake Forest.
The Demon Deacons' two-time leading rusher missed the start of preseason camp while his eligibility was brought into question.
Now he's back after receiving a waiver from the NCAA -- and in the process, learning a valuable lesson.
Harris tells The Associated Press that he "can't live my life trying to think the rules don't apply to me."
The school's student privacy policies prohibit officials from discussing why Harris' eligibility was in question. Harris says it involved a miscommunication with his academic adviser concerning a class that he didn't know he was enrolled in and subsequently never attended.
That left him without enough credits to be eligible to play.
