Botetourt appeared to be on a collision course with Northside in two weeks. This week the Vikings battled William Fleming in the first meeting between the two schools since 2008.
The Vikings were sitting at 5 and oh and averaging 36 points per game, whereas Fleming entered the contest coming-off back-to-back losses.
The Colonels though, made this a game early. Jerome Hill got the ball and all 5-foot-7 of him battled to get in for the Fleming touchdown, getting them with-in 21-14.
Northside turned it on from there though. Dominic Dunnaville aired it out to Harold Buckner who made the great catch with the defender right on him.
Then Dunnaville finished off the drive on the very next play from 3 yards out. The Vikings were up 28-14 at the half.
On the opening drive of the third, Dunnaville handed off to Sam Krizner who took it 30 yards for the Northside touchdown. It was 35-14 Vikings.
Dunnaville added two more rushing touchdowns to seal the win for Northside who remains undefeated.
They beat Fleming 48-14.
