The Patriots were coming off their first playoff berth in 12 season.

ROANOKE CO., Va. -

Coach Alan Fiddler's Patrick Henry Patriots were fresh off their first playoff berth in 12 seasons.  But this week that was ancient history as Fiddler began his third season at PH with a short road trip to Bogle Stadium to lock up with Hidden Valley.

The Titans came out energized and held Patrick Henry on the first few drives. On the first PH possession, Trevor Mike got the handoff swept right then reversed field and took it 25 yards down the sidelines to get into Titan territory. On the fourth down, they were trying to convert, but Anthony Merritt's pass falls incomplete as the Patriots turn it over on downs.

Hidden Valley was getting something going, 3rd and 10, Jake Smiley kept it and scrambled for 14 yards to pick up the first down for the Titans.

They couldn't get anything going on the punt. Treyvon Terry had a 30 yard return down to the 20 yard line that would set up a 40 yard field goal as Patrick Henry took a 3-0 lead.

In the second quarter, Hidden Valley with the punt and it was Terry on the return and he broke loose and went all the way down the field into the endzone as PH goes up 10-0 and eventually blanks Hidden Valley 23-0 the final in this one.
