The fourth Greenbrier Classic tees off on Thursday in White Sulphur Springs and things are off and running on the historic Old White TPC course.
The practice tee was a busy place Monday as the pros started to trickle into town, fine tuning their games to take aim at the six million dollar plus purse.
Twelve major winners are in the star studded field this week, including Greenbrier pro emeritus Tom Watson and 2003 Masters Champ Mike Weir.
2011 Greenbrier Classic champion Scott Stallings made time to sign some autographs Monday.
All of them agree that this week's event is wide open, which speaks to the parity that has been prevalent on tour this season.
Stallings is one in a trio of surprise winners at the Greenbrier, and there are a host of younger players hoping to follow in his footsteps this week, including two who are heading a major youth movement.  Michael Kim is the reigning college player of the year out of the University of California.  He was the low amateur at the U.S. Open.  And Jordan Spieth, Kim's fellow 19 year old, is fresh off a 6th place finish at last week's AT&T National.  Both hope to shoot up the leaderboard this weekend at the Greenbrier.
