The nearly-perfect weather on Monday is a reminder of what summer should be like.
Unfortunately, this rainy summer hasn't helped things on the golf course. Managers at Blue Hills in Roanoke say their business is down close to 15 percent from this time last year.
The rain got so bad one day, maintenance crews on the course became fish rescuers.
"The fifth hole is right beside our main retention pond and at one point during the heaviest rain our maintenance crew had to pull some fish out of the fairway. There were about 12of them that they had to pull out.
Managers tell us the threat of bad weather doesn't keep people away, just the bad weather itself.
