Minimal snow amount with next week's system

SUNDAY MORNING UPDATE: It is becoming increasingly likely that only a light snow event will take place next week. Even then, not everyone will see it.
Models have come to an agreement that the coastal storm depicted on last week's models won't materialize. Instead, a strong cold front will bring arctic air to the region. That will be followed by light upslope snow in the typical snowy areas from the West Virginia mountains to the North Carolina Mountains.
Some light snow showers or flurries are certainly possible across the region, but nothing that should interrupt work, school and travel plans.
We continue to have the temperature ups and downs. Warmer weather follows later in the week, then colder air returns the next week.
